Bible Question:
My question today is about my self and about faith. Can someone give me some simple examples I can do to test my own Faith? |
Bible Answer: Dear Jay, Whew... Alien's definition of faith is truly alien to Scripture! It does not mean shutting down your brain. Scripture says that faith comes through the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Don't worry about testing your own faith, tests will come. Instead, immerse yourself in the Word of God and your faith will grow. Remember, farmers plant seeds at the right time under the right conditions, but they can't make the seeds grow. In the same way, our spiritual growth is a work of God. We can position ourselves to receive all that He intends by letting our minds be transformed by the Scriptures. The Scriptures can change the way we think, the way we act, what we believe, and how we should live (2 Tim 3:16). Study them -- through private reading of the Word, memorization, meditation, corporate study, and worship -- and God will give the fruit! In Him, Doc |
