Bible Question:
My question today is about my self and about faith. Can someone give me some simple examples I can do to test my own Faith? |
Bible Answer: Greetings NightJay Deuteronomy 13:3 "you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul." James 1:2-4 "2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." I feel that God is testing our faith at all times even when we do not realize it. There was a time when I wondered if I had faith enough to trust God. I was driving in my car, praying about it, and suddenly I got an urge to let go of the steering wheel, close my eyes, and allow God to drive. It took alot for me to let my hands off the wheel, but I never could bring myself to the point of closing my eyes. I am not sure that I would tempt God into testing your faith. Blessings, Aliennow |
