Bible Question:
My father is a preacher who preach curse on people. When I disagreed with him, I was asked to leave his church. Tithing will not bring you into heaven nor keep you from it. But in my dad's church it is asif tithing is equal to salvation - you dare not disagree on it. According to my family I am now rebellious and full of deceipt. All my friends and the congregation members are warned not to speak to me as I will mislead them. I don't care about convincing my father of the truth any more - I would just like peace in our family again. What should I do? |
Bible Answer: In Hebrews 7:5 it says that the Decendants of Levi were charged by the Law to take tithes from the people, so it didn't originate from the law but taking tithes from the people did, so if we are not under the law, who charged your father and all other preachers to take tithes from the people? |
