AMPLIFIED 2015 | Hebrews 1:2 has in these last days spoken [with finality] to us in [the person of One who is by His character and nature] His Son [namely Jesus], whom He appointed heir and lawful owner of all things, through whom also He created the universe [that is, the universe as a space-time-matter continuum]. |
Bible Question:
Hi, In the old testament days, God talked directly to Adam Eve, Abraham and perhaps a few more others but nowadays, He does!nt talk to us or make His voice audible- we have to discern. What causes the change in attitude of His?Is it because He is angry with us? If so, for what? Your comments, please. With Love in Christ FytRobert |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Hebrews 1:-2 ... FytRobert, God's evening to you ... It is not that God has changed His attitude, nor is He angry. I gather from these verses that His Son is the final speaker ... the final Person He spoke through. He did speak to serveral people in Acts, as well as John in Revelation ... but, I believe no one hears the audible voice of God, because the Bible is complete. Searcher |
