Bible Question:
What was Paul thinking?!?!? I mean, just LOOK at what he had the audacity to say: 2 Timothy 4:17 But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion's mouth. 2 Timothy 4:18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. This proves 2 things about Paul: 1. He was arrogant. 2. He was ignorant. Both are easily proved by the fact that the doctrine of eternal security is a myth. Once-saved-always-saved is a doctrine made up by Luther and Calvin. Paul may have SAID he knew he was going to heaven, but he was confused. It's possible that he could have become an apostate. He just couldn't have known. Therefore, none of us can know we are always going to be saved. Salvation depends upon our works. BEFORE YOU LAY INTO ME: THIS IS A PARODY!!! Bible Answer: If your name is written in the Lambs Book of Life then you are saved forever. Jesus doesn't use erasers. Once saved always saved. It is good to do works but it is not required. Though I'm 14 dont look down on what I have to say please. read 1 Timothy 4:12 also what is a parody? |
