Subject: Leave of stay in church? |
Bible Note: Hello ardmore, John Maxwell is the ex-Pastor of Skyline Wesleyn Church in San Diego (approx. 5000 members), who now teaches and writes exclusively on leadership. Pastors don't always have (or exhibit) what I call people skills! They should:-) Often, the pastor's weaknesses can be seen and therefore manifested more visibly in a small church. It may be a reason why it's small? Keep on praying for him and seek the Lord's direction for you. Leaving the church I was saved in turned out be be a huge blessing- though it was hard to see it at first. Has anyone else noticed or commented on his behavior? Maybe you should pray about confronting him in love? As your pastor, he should be open to concerns of the congregation- assuming you approach it with the right motive.
