Subject: 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 WHO? |
Bible Note: Hi Cuddle Let me ask you a question: If the "restrainer" mentioned in 2 Thess. 2:7 isn't referring to the Holy Spirit, then who else could this be referring to? vrese 7 says this restrainer, restrains lawlessness, and verse 8 mentions the revealing of the "lawless one" whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth. I personally don't see anyone else besides the Holy Spirit who could possibly restrain this lawless one, also called the man of sin in verse 3, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, verse 9. No one but God has that sort of power to retrain this man of sin. Blessings NC |
