Subject: Which saints will be left behind? |
Bible Note: Dear M.Royal; You have said;.... "Remember that all that belong to God through Christ (saved) are the Church or of his body." In response to that I will show you the truth of the mater. Jesus makes this statement to Peter, This is after Peter said to Him in response to the question: Who do you say I am? Peter responded; "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Then Jesus makes a remarkable declaration that should be payed attention to, (and whenever our Lord speaks we should pay attention!)....... Matt 16:18 "I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. Now, It is (clear) that He said; (I WILL build) this is clearly an indication that He had not as yet started to build it, so, obviously not everyone that is saved is part of the Church, obviously the old testament saints are not the same as the Church, they are saved of course, and part of God's family, but not, according to Jesus Christ, are they the Church. So, should we believe you or Jesus? If you need more, please feel free to ask, I'll be glad to help you find the truth. God bless. John |
