Bible Question: What is the role of the pastor in the church? Should he be treated like a king? |
Bible Answer: 1) It is true that pastors are to be esteemed. But are they the only persons in the church to be esteemed? Php 2:3 NKJV "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself." 2) According to Vine's Expository Dictionary, a minister is "a servant..." Normally employers do not treat their servants as kings. |
