Subject: Why do we have Jesus stuck in a manger? |
Bible Note: "Are you reading the Bible as part of your sources? If you are, what version is it?" I read the KJV of the Bible. Very good reponse. I should have phrased my question better. I see the birth of Jesus as a great event. However, it seems we celebrate his birth more than we do his death. We take a pagan holiday and move our celebration of Jesus birthday, January 6th to that day, December 25th. We try to lure pagans to christianity be deceitful means, we take on their customs... to this day we take on their customs and try to make them Christian. Also, I do believe that Jesus did experience sin. Mt 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? He was bearing the sins of the entire world. Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Praise the Lord! |
