Subject: Partly under the Law? |
Bible Note: Mark: Only laws that were abolished were the sacrificial laws and surrounding laws which pointed to Christ. Blood of animals cannot take away sin. Ten commandments are universal moral laws which I believe God had in existence from creation. Gen. 26:5 clearly tell us that Abraham was following law. God's law to not eat tree in garden of Eden was not apart of 10 Comm. but also the diet restrictions on meat is not in the 10 comm. This is a tough topic to discuss but I would rather take the approach that we are bound by what God says on any subject unless there is specific statements or instructions be God to challenge His prior instructions. Diet laws have not changed. Sabbath (Saturday) has not changed. To justify a doctine wihtout biblical evidence (properly interpreted) is blatent disobedience. A reflection of out love is to keep His will or commandments. In love, Merv |
