AMPLIFIED 2015 | Philippians 4:8 ¶ Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God's word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]. |
Bible Question:
I have a friend who's husband is in the military. She recently went to a bible study about how the devil tries to come against us and bring us away from God. One of the topics was pornogrophy. She said that those who have husbands in the military should not be sending nude pictures of yourself. My husband is not in the military and I could not imagine being away from him for six months!! let alone not "being with him" I don't see what is wrong with looking at your own wife naked. (This could lead to other pictures of naked women? such as magazines?) I really don't have an answer she just asked me what I thought! Any opinions?? |
Bible Answer: 1 Corinthians 7 2But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband. 3The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife. 5Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 33But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world--how he can please his wife-- But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world--how she can please her husband. It would seem that this is a very serious issue, and one that should be addressed always...we are commanded to do whatever is necessary to keep our spouses pure, and focused only the body God gave to them as a partner...when you find that partner, no one may tell you how to enjoy one another...you are made for each other and no one else...as long as you act in love, and all activites are consensual....go nuts!! You will find that the closer and more active your sex lives, the closer and more devoted you are to each other...it's as intimate as you will ever get with another person..do what you want. |
