NASB | Ephesians 5:5 For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ephesians 5:5 For be sure of this: no immoral, impure, or greedy person--for that one is [in effect] an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God [for such a person places a higher value on something other than God]. |
Subject: Mercy can only go so far... right? |
Bible Note: Thank you for your answer. To answer your question, if someone repents for their sins, they are forgiven by the Lord, therefore, they are forgiven by me. I have realized that my problem is not with God, my problem is how I disagree with what I see going on in the world today. There is so much good in the world, (as you pointed out) but it has become so difficult these days to train myself to look for it. God created us, God created our resources. God gave us the ability to advance with these resources. These things, along with many others, I am thankful for. P.S. Pray for me my brothers and sisters for I am receiving the gift of baptism tomorrow!!! |
