Bible Note: God's day to you, Steve, The reason I would teach "knowing our spiritual gifts" as part of the basics class, is so that one knows where they fit in. I don't know of Scripture that tells us how we know what gift(s) we have. To compound this from our feeble minds is, I see they can change. When the Spirit *wills* (1 Cor 12:11) ... means it is continuous, which I think He can add, or take away. Also, some gifts can be thought as "natural" ... and I wonder if there is a difference. If I have a natural gift of helps (1 Cor 12:28), that I used before I was a believer, can it be considered a "spiritual" gift? Searcher Searcher |
