Bible Question: How were we raised? |
Bible Answer: Hi The Bible is Right, We are raised by the Spirit and are alive by the Spirit. Romans 8:24, "For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one also hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it. And in the same way the (Spirit) also helps our weakness;..." Ephesians 2:1, "And you were dead in your trespassses and sins, in which you formerly walked...But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with (Christ) (by grace you have been saved),..." We are alive together spiritually by the Spirit. Seated with the God/Man, that is, "in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus." The flesh profits nothing. Ephesians 2:8, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of (God); not as a result of works, that no one should boast." From the heart, Ray |
