AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ephesians 2:5 even when we were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us [spiritually] alive together with Christ (for by His grace--His undeserved favor and mercy--you have been saved from God's judgment). [Rom 6:1-10] |
Subject: Elegant Salvation? |
Bible Note: Indy, Regarding your nit, I was not referring to spiritual perfection, i.e. "incapable of sin," but human perfection, i.e. "incapable of error." Perhaps they have only exchanged mystical religious arrogance for intellectual religious arrogance? Please note that I do not accuse all of this attitude. Many involved with one sect or another are unaware of the "higher doctrines" of their own church, or simply ignore them. The faith of the multitude is certainly more basic than the traditions of men. Praise the Lord! |
