Bible Question (short): Elegant Salvation? |
Question (full): Saints, Watching things from afar, I continue to be amazed at the complicated formulae propounded for such a simple and elegant thing, that is salvation. Some 'reformed ' doctrines are so convoluted that I wonder how they keep track. It seems that the Spirit of God has been excised, replaced by an 'infallible' church of tradition and intellect. Proponents of 'free will' have the unmitigated gall to think that they can just one day 'decide' to believe on Jesus Christ, which begins their relationship with God, and then they must 'tallyho' 'til the end! Good Luck! God, by His Spirit, quickened us together with Christ, and continues, without fail, to bring us to glory. Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. (KJV) Praise the Lord! |
