Subject: Mistaken View Or False Doctrine? |
Bible Note: Shalom, Yes, I noticed that I missed that part (I'm at work, which is a pretty good excuse for being scatter-brained, this time anyeay, lol). So, since you asked, it sounds like just mistaken views to me. I see false doctrines as usually being malicious for one reason or another and these just sound like mistakes because they don't deter from that which is necessary, nor do they line someone's pockets with believers hard earned money. Although, I'm not so sure about the tarrying at the altar one - that could really put a stumbling block in front of a fervent believer. It probably wouldn't be for malicious purposes but it could still prove to be disastrous, in more ways than one! (I was one of those that got told that some 30 years ago!) Again, just my opinion.
