Bible Note: Chochma, taking certain sections of Scripture out of context has led you to the erroneous conclusion that they contradict one another. In reality, (you do understand reality, don’t you?) The author of James CONFIRMS the book of Romans. Read Romans 5:3-4 and James 1:3, read Romans 2:13 and James 1:22 together and read Romans 7:23 together with James 4:1 and 1 Pet 2:11, and tell us again that James and Romans contradict. In reality, they all agree with ALL of Scripture. The book of Hebrews, which points out the end of the Law that God gave to Moses, spends an entire chapter revealing the truth of James’ exposition concerning the truth of "faith without works is dead". Hebrews 11 (the faith chapter, if you will) deals specifically with the WORKS of those listed. Paul, the author of Romans, also preached much about the combination of faith and works in his other epistles. Peter ties faith and works together. Your – “Deuterononomy ch 4 tells us to not accept additions to what Moses has given ,,, So based upon our agreed method we must strike Deuteronomy or eveything there after as contradiction..You choose” – That explains exactly where your illogical concept came from and how you accept such foolishness. 1 Cor 2:14 is not to taken lightly. Sadly, your conclusion is evidence that particular portion of Scripture is very accurate. We will be praying that He lead you into ALL truth, through His Word, by His Holy Spirit. Taleb |
