Bible Question (short): Was Jesus rich (financially)? |
Question (full): 2 Corinthians 8:9 Paul is urging the church to give. He says Jesus was rich and became poor. It appears Paul is talking about finances here I don't know my Gospels cover to cover but when I read about Jesus I never get the sense he was ever fiscally rich. What do you think on this issue. Can we believe that Paul is talking about spirituality combined with Blessings that came from God and allowed Jesus and his desciples to be provided for as they traveled from place to place? Bottom line....Before crucifying and resurrection, how well off was Jesus and where how do we know? |
