NASB | 2 Corinthians 12:9 And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Corinthians 12:9 but He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough--always available--regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness." Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me. |
Subject: Did Jesus heal everyone? |
Bible Note: I am sorry I should have clarified. Did he turn any one away when He was in the flesh on the earth? I am not looking for a question about a Christian appropriating healing. Did Jesus Christ say no to anyone while on earth. He did come close in Matt 15:25 But she came and began to bow down before Him, saying, "Lord, help me!" Verse Info. Notes Matt 15:26 And He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." Verse Info. Notes Matt 15:27 But she said, "Yes, Lord; but even the dogs feed on the crumbs which fall from their masters' table." Verse Info. Notes Matt 15:28 Then Jesus said to her, "O woman, your faith is great; it shall be done for you as you wish." And her daughter was healed at once. In this case He asked her a question and then healed. |
