Bible Note: Hi, dispen4ever... You asked, "Where in that quotation is it indicated that I posted it to promote some intellectual proweress? That is an assumption on your part, not a fact." (sic) :-) Please forgive my assumption regarding the actual intent behind your plagiarism. The Scriptures rightly assert that we "do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his appetite when he is hungry" (Proverbs 6:30 ESV). Nonetheless, his hunger does not ameliorate the moral repugnance of the act, nor its consequences of stealing (v31). You clearly the efforts of the authors whose words you take as your own is of little importance to you. You also have little regard for our gracious host, to whom you promised to avoid such practices. More could be arguably inferred. Lockman's requirements are not just based in the righteous demands of the Decalogue. The terms of use exist for very specific legal reasons. I beseech you, therefore, to avoid jeopardizing the privilege of the Study Bible Forum to us all, by ignoring Lockman's mandates. In Him, Doc |
