AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 7:12 ¶ To the rest I declare--I, not the Lord [since Jesus did not discuss this]--that if any [believing] brother has a wife who does not believe [in Christ], and she consents to live with him, he must not leave her. |
Bible Question (short): He believes in God not Jesus, is it ok? |
Question (full): I am confussed about the meaning of the passage 2Cor6:14. Be Not Unequally Yoked. I am engaged to what I believe is my soul mate. This man is perfect for me. We have been engaged for about 7 months now and are planning to wed in May of 2006. Recently we engaged in a conversation about religion. In which It was revealed that he does not believe that Jesus is Gods son. He says that he believes in God but not Jesus. He has some beliefs but not from the New Testiment where Jesus and the miricles are concerned. Are we unequally yoked because of this? He believes that Jesus was a prophet and nothing else. Can someone please shed some light to this question? |
