NASB | 1 Corinthians 2:15 But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 2:15 But the spiritual man [the spiritually mature Christian] judges all things [questions, examines and applies what the Holy Spirit reveals], yet is himself judged by no one [the unbeliever cannot judge and understand the believer's spiritual nature]. |
Subject: Judge for yourselves. |
Bible Note: This note seems to me very self explanatory. I believe what the word has to say. Unrighteous judgement, destructive critism, is definitely prohibited of Christians. However, there are things and situations which should and must be judged, in order to prevent the body or oneself from founding itself on error. God is looking for those who will worship him in spirit an in truth. He is looking for those who will obey His commandments to Love sincerely and fervently. We are warned to carefully select our words, thoughts, and deeds because these will be the measure of our final judgement when we stand before him. Kalos, was this where you were coming from? This is a very touchy subject and it shouldn't be at least not for mature christians. God bless you. Very well done. Elder Young |
