Subject: What's the Greek word 4 worship Jn 4:24 |
Bible Note: The Greek word for worship in John 4:24 is proskuneo, not latreuo. When proskuneo and latreuo are in the same verse (Mat 4:10, Luk 4:8, Rom 1:25), it is always translated worship and service ... not service and service. Service (latreuo) and worship (proskuneo) are two different acts, tho they are linked together. |
