AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 14:22 Therefore, [unknown] tongues are [meant] for a [supernatural] sign, not to believers but to unbelievers [who might be receptive]; while prophecy [foretelling the future, speaking a new message from God to the people] is not for unbelievers but for believers. |

Bible Note: Hi Hank, It’s funny to me that you should mention that little song that so many children have heard. That was the very song that ran through my head when I first accepted Christ as my personal Savior back in 1965. I had never heard the gospel message as a youth but I had heard that song, back when I was just a pup. When I started reading the New Testament that song just keep running through my mind. Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Isn’t the Lord just precious! John 6:39-40 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
