AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one [Holy] Spirit we were all baptized into one body, [spiritually transformed--united together] whether Jews or Greeks (Gentiles), slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit [since the same Holy Spirit fills each life]. Bible Question: When a Christian is not baptised before his death, could that hinder him from making heaven? In other words, can 'not being baptised, be a reason for a person who died keeping the bibles rules to losse heaven? |
Bible Answer: Mark Twain advised those who would enter heaven: "Leave your dog outside. Heaven goes by favor. If it went by merit you would stay out and the dog would go in." More importantly, tho, Jesus says in John 5:24, "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life." Jesus is our Savior, not baptism. |
