Bible Note: Steve, That's disappointing to hear about the Apocrypha. And maybe you are right I may not get my questions answered. But, it dampens my faith to know that so many basic questions do not have good answers. But, we will have to respectfully disagree about the meaning of 2 Pet. I just cannot see that as a reference to the Bible. I don't think any scriptures in the Bible can be referencing the Bible (they certainly can be referencing scripture, which the Bible is). I am open to the possibility that some of the apocrapha is actually scripture, with more to teach me. Steve, have you read the Church Fathers? Are they helpful? Ted546 |
