AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 8:28 ¶ And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. |
Bible Question:
For how God causes all things to work together for good when ... -a young child by a drunken driver? -a mother is dying in agony with cancer? -Christians are tortured, made slaves, killed, etc. for their faith? |
Bible Answer: Steve, I can also give you a personal testimony. I was a victim of spouse abuse, mental, emotional, and physical. After I was out I saw how God took a bad thing and made good come out of it. I have helped quite a few women get out of the same situation I was in. Who knows if one of them would eventually been killed. God does take the bad and use it for good. Now I want to go in another direction. Sometimes God takes people to be merciful to them. You never know what that person might of gone through if they had not died. Suppose that young child would of grown up there could of been something horrible that would of happened to them that God kept from happening. The doctors could of learned something from that woman that will be able to help them treat others in the future. We never know what the future could of been for those people. |
