Bible Question: I don't really understand this whole concept myself. Let's say someone is saved, then goes through a time of doubt (Job, for example). Are they still saved? Also, what about the Catholics, who believe that salvation comes from baptism and confirmation? |
Bible Answer: Dont look back to the people that sometimes you feel that there are save but then go back to the old time vices. The question really there is are they really save? Being save is between you and God, not because you feel it but God knows are you really save or not. Christ said to his sheep (save persons): Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: Joh 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Joh 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one. (no man is able to pluck them out of my father's hand") do you think it revocable? NO "No man is able to pluck them out". But how are we sure that we are belong to that pluck? Mt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Paul when has been save assesses that Christ live in the believer: a 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. If christ lives in you, do you think you can lose your salvation? Do you think Christ will leave you and let you go back to your old sins NO: Joh 14:18 ΒΆ I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Mt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world. Amen. "He is always be with us unto the end of the worls. Amen." About the catholics believed, leave it in the hand of God, God is justice enough to weight everyone salvation, we cant judge them, it is God will judge everyone of us. God bless, |
