Bible Note: Hi Luke, Do you truly believe that God no longer cares if you lie, or steal, or covet, or murder? Is God not concerned if you commit adultery, or dishonor your parents, or worship other Gods? Is that what your freedom means to you? We are not justified by the keeping of the Law, but by grace through faith. That is the new covenant. But lying never stopped being wrong, and neither did murder, nor adultery, nor the rest of the Law. Freedom is the freedom from being a slave to sin, not the freedom to sin. 1 Pet 2:16 Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God.
