NASB | Romans 7:13 ¶ Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? May it never be! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by effecting my death through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 7:13 ¶ Did that which is good [the Law], then become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, in order that it might be revealed as sin, was producing death in me by [using] this good thing [as a weapon], so that through the commandment sin would become exceedingly sinful. |
Subject: What is the exceeding sinfulness of sin? |
Bible Note: Aixen7z4 What would give them that idea? I was talking about what many consider to be inappropriate behavior of a third party trying to profit from actions of Lockman and the participants of this forum. I made no mention of Lockman's intent or motivates. Nor did I in anyway portray Lockman in a negative way. I now wonder if of what you posted accusing me is as some would say a “Freudian slip”. You know where some body accuses another of an action, when it in fact what they accuse the other of is the very thing they use as a basis to justify their own actions. I wonder ??? EdB |
