Subject: What does "good" mean Biblically. |
Bible Note: Hello, Robert. That was a good post, good for you, you're a good man for researching it, and I had a good time reading it! "Good" is one of those little indefinite English words that we've worked to death and nearly worn out. Words do have a way of wearing out through over use, and that's one of the reasons a living language is constantly in the process of change..... Whatever we may make the word "good" mean to us, there are none of us so good that we need a Savior any less than those who are so very bad. My sins separate me from God as surely as the sins of a mass murderer separate him from God, and both of us are in equal need of Christ's atonement. Good or bad, all men must be born again in order to enter the kingdom of God. That's what the Good Book says! --Hank |
