AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 5:7 Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to willingly give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a good man [one who is noble and selfless and worthy] someone might even dare to die. |
Bible Question (short): What does "good" mean Biblically. |
Question (full): How can we distinguish the different meanings of the word "good" as used in the Bible? The Bible speaks of the word good to mean "perfect" at times and other times it seems to mean less than perfect. Christ said only God is good, but in Mat. 22, it speaks of people both good and bad. |
