Bible Note: gospelmidi - In reference to Romans 4:1, you say, "The word 'our' (Gr. hemon) appears to be a typo." ..... I've checked a half dozen leading translations and they all of them seem to have made the same "typo." Doesn't that strike you as odd, that none of these translators and editors caught the "typo"? If you are referring to a "typo" in the ancient Greek texts, your term is inaccurate since typos are possible only with moveable type. If by "typo" you mean an error in the biblical manuscripts, I should think you would have no objection to offering objective and authoritative proof of your claim. --Hank |
