Bible Note: Good morning Ray - thanks for the reply. I guess I'm still struggling with this concept, as it has the appearance of a "New Age" or Eastern philosophy that asserts that god is in everyone or we are all god. (Intentional lower case g). Jesus prayed in John 17 that we would be one as He and the Father are one (John 17:21-22). Is this a picture of Omnipresent reality desiring continual and future unity of believers? I think that this verse more closely parallels John 10:30 as the oneness here is of a personal and intimate nature than the "oneness" in Ephesians. What do you think? mommapbs |
