Bible Question (short): Are we Stupid or Lazy? Our Soul at stak |
Question (full): I see so many questions here. I am gratefull for them for they make me think and research. What I simply don't understand is WHY there are so many LAZY people where the WORD of God is concerned. It is ones MORTAL SOUL at Stake. Why do people ALWAYS turn to people for the interpritation of Gods word? Surely in this country today, bibles are readily available to everyone who has a desire to have one. Oh, but I don't understand what I read? Are you Stupid? 1 a : slow of mind : OBTUSE b : given to unintelligent decisions or acts : acting in an unintelligent or careless manner c : lacking intelligence or reason : Or are you simply Lazy? not easily aroused to activity. LAZY suggests a disinclination to work or to take trouble *convenience foods for lazy cooks*. INDOLENT suggests a love of ease and a settled dislike of movement or activity *the heat made us all indolent*. SLOTHFUL implies a temperamental inability to act promptly or speedily when action or speed is called for *fired for being slothful about filling orders*. If one reads the word they will learn that they will eventually learn it. So why can we not learn from the experiances of others? Just wondering... George |
