Subject: How can you prove God exists? |
Bible Note: Hi djktk and welcome to the form, I have found that most who claim to be atheist are really agnostic; the just don't have a personal knowledge of God yet. If a person will be honest with you they will admit that they don’t know all that it knowable in this world. And there is somebody out there somewhere that knows a little something that they don’t have any knowledge of. If they will give you the benefit of stable reasoning then maybe you can point them in the right direction. God tells us that we are all dead spiritually and he is the only one that has the ability of communication with us on spiritual matters. Have you every tried to get a psychically dead man to do something when you talk to him; kind of a waist of this isn’t it? 1 Cor. 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. All people were or are dead spiritually from the point of physical birth and can’t understand the things of God. God can and wants to prove his existence to the world but the world keeps stiff arming God, as it were, just like a runner when playing football. God speaks through his word, the Bible, and if a person “really” wants to know if God exists then get them to read the Gospel of John. “But”, before they do, tell them to ask God to reveal himself to them while they are reading his words. “If they are serious” and really want to know, God will do his part and show them the truth about himself, and they will have a personal experience with the living God. Hebrews 11:6 (B) for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. The truth about God is contained in his Word. If one is willing to believe what God say in his Word, God says that he will free them. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. God can free those that are dead spiritually from the grip that death has on them and they can be a changed person, if that’s what they want and they would like to live the abundant life. John 10:10 (B) I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Have a great day, CDBJ |
