Bible Question:
Romans 1:18-20 In verses 18-20, is Paul referring to all men or to a specific group i.e. Leaders, Teachers, Policitians, Priests, Church leaders, etc.? During Paul's time and before, did ALL people know there was a God in heaven or had some not heard? If all had heard, when/how did the world get to the point of some people having never heard? Your replies will be most appreciated! God bless! Wanda B. |
Bible Answer: Wanda, In my OPINION this verse has relevance to the Christian majority of our day. As I have witnessed in this forum so it is among most of Christendom. Suppression and oppression is the preferred method of evangelization among these types. No opinion other than the "orthodox" view is accepted. What I don't get is why would a study of the bible exist if everything was already figured out and every doctrine, verse etc is neatly packaged in Fundamentalist totalitarianism? I have attempted to show the "other" view in all of my posts so as to bring balance. It is like this forum just wants everyone to say I am Ok and you are ok and everything is harmonious. Well like much of the Bible stories, that sounds great, teaches alot but that's not reality. |
