Subject: Why does Jesus have 2 genealogies? |
Bible Note: ateo, what makes you think that there are "other views" on the genealogy of Jesus than Matthew's and Luke's accounts? Is your question rhetorical: do YOU have some other view? Or is it merely fashioned to stir up debate and controversy? On a former post I asked you to come clean and level with this forum regarding what a self-confessed atheist was doing here in the first place, but you have thus far not come forth with any explanation. You seem bent on hiding behind some guise that, in your view, prevents you from saying why you are an erstwhile Christian-turned-atheist. Unless you're willing to reveal your motive in being here and what you expect from this forum, I fail to see how you or we can benefit a great deal by rather pointless discussions of pi and the genealogy of Jesus. What are you seeking, ateo? If your motive is to come back into the fold of Christ, fine: how can we help? If it is, on the other hand, to stir up controversy and discredit the Bible, then not fine: buzz off! --Hank |
