Bible Question (short): Define 'preach.'

Question (full): And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
(Act 5:42 KJVR) Please tell me about the two words, 'preach' and 'teach.' Synonyms or what are the distinctions. I would be very interested in its use in Gal. 3:8 and Heb 4:2.
