Bible Question: must jews accept jesus to go to heaven? |
Bible Answer: Hi Tov, Welcome to the forum. It is the plan of God that Jesus would be the spotless Lamb of God. All of the Jewish sacrifices up to the point of Christ death were only a covering until God would provide the perfect spotless sacrifice, his only unique dear Son. John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. God has no other plan for man’s salvation other then through his Son. Jesus did it once for all, he paid the price that God demanded for our redemption and God the Father was satisfied with the price paid because he brought his son back to life and seated him at his right hand. Hebrews 10:7-12 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. 8Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; The direct answer to your question, “must jews accept jesus to go to heaven?” Is a resounding yes, with no exception and it’s not because anyone says so but because God’s Word says so! John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Have a great day, CDBJ |
