Bible Note: Greetings Reighnskye! There is no Biblical reference describing how a 'marriage' is to be performed in Scripture my friend. To the best of my knowledge though, marriage has always been a civil contract with God's blessing. So, the best Bibilical answer that I can advance is that one must follow the laws of the land.
