Subject: Question for Rowdy.... |
Bible Note: Country Girl (Rowdy), In regards to Noah and his predicament, I'm not sure how this relates to the issue of baptism being necessary for salvation? Hebrews 11:7 tells us that, "by faith Noah prepared an ark for the salvation of his household". No mention of baptism being required. It was his faith in what God told him to do that truly "saved him". The ark certainly is a picture of Christ, being the only way (vehicle) of salvation and having only 1 door (John 14:6). The conclusion is the ones who were "baptised", i.e got wet, perished-all of them! I'm missing something here. The emphasis is still on FAITH. Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
