Bible Question: According to the BIBLE, How do you know that you have received the HOly Ghost. And do you beleive that receiving the Holy Ghost, based on evidence, is necesary for salvation. The reasone that I ask this question is because we have talked alot baptism. But my understanding is that you also have to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Let's talk, |
Bible Answer: It is not possible to be saved without the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Jesus said ye cannot enter the Kingdom unless you are born anew. Born of water and Spirit. The born again experience is witnessed by the fact of the Holy Spirit working in ones life to produce the fruits of the Spirit, or righteousness. If one's life has not changed from the old life, then there has been no grace extended, and without grace you haven't been saved. bartay |
