Subject: Show me scripture that says we can sin |
Bible Note: Ok now we get technical, which is good. First you don't have to be a christian to go to heaven. Being "classified" does not matter. The bible says, "Thou shall NOT commit murder"! There seems to be imformation missing after that. Why would God say "Thou shall Not..." and then say, well, if you ask for forgiveness... God does not change he is the same today, yesterday, and tomorrow. So if he put the law down then it still applies today. So back to your original question, Can a Christian commit murder and be saved? According the the new testament, yes. But according to the old testament no, because they would have been stoned. But my answer to you is, there are no degrees of sin and if someone sins and asks for forgiveness they will be forgiven. But they better fear God because they will be punished. Not only that is they die in the act of any sin before they have the chance to ask for forgivness they go to hell without question. So there really is no point in even taking the chance and if someone choses to do so they face the consequinces. |
