Subject: Resurrection Sunday or easter? |
Bible Note: Greetings Sir Pent! By the way, I also would like to extend a big 'welcome back' to you my friend! It is good to have you back on the forum. I fully agree with your point. I have made the same arguement before about Christmas. It doesn't matter to me if a holiday once meant something else, or if a pagan somewhere, once celebrated something similar. :-) My response to Makarios was in regard to the translation of 'passover' as 'easter'. He did an excellent job of explaining why it shouldn't be translated as 'easter'. He also did an excellent job demonstrating the even the KJV made 'errors' in it's translation - at times. :-) p.s. - I never knew that Nissan was the same company as Datsun. I used to have an old Datsun when I was a teenager. :-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
