Bible Note: Jesus WARNED against being deceived on this very topic, the one area of the Christian faith in which MOST apparently ARE deceived. IF I was to take a survey on how many adhered to the dun-trib; or the pre-trib theory; or the mid-trib theory; or the post-trib theory; or the two rapture theory; or the pan-trib theory, which would receive the latest following? IF an equal amount of Christians believed each separate theory, that means that MORE THAN 83 PER CENT BELIEVE THE WRONG ONE. No wonder the world laughs at our rantings and ravings. The truth of the matter is ONLY ONE "theory" can be right. Yet, dogmatically, every one uses the very same Scriptures to back "their personal view-point" up, and they ALL disprove the other theories. Besides ignoring the blatant clues, that stand out for the world to see, in those same portions of Scripture. Some people I have talked with have never heard of any “theory” except their own. I often have that same reaction when I discover someone is an evolutionist. I ask them which evolutionary theory they believe? Their expression usually demonstrates their total ignorance of that faulty science. More often than not, they, like the followers of the various rapture theories never had a clue that all the others disprove theirs, no matter which evolutionary theory they swear by. If you read through the last 1,800 years of church history, you will quickly discover that they ALL pretty much agreed. Now you can be deflocked from a church for believing THE BOOK over "their" books. Why can't we agree with Scripture and its followers and those through the ages? Jesus, and Paul, warned us not to allow ANY MAN to deceive us. Yet, sadly enough, today the "church at large" believes the authors of books - rather than the Author and finisher of our eternal lives.
