Subject: Is it bibical for a church to require? |
Bible Note: Scipture ... Deu 17:2-7 (vs 6), 19:15-21 (vs 15); Mat 18:15-20 (vv 16, 20); 2Co 13:1-3 (vs 1); 1Ti 5:19; Heb 10:28 ... God's day to you, justme, Only when a brother offends me and he refuses to listen (Mat 18:15-17). I don't think it is any offense, based on the above Scripture. Plus, the context of the previous verses indicate this may be causing a child to stumble. The rest of the chapter is about forgiving. The above Scripture says two or three gathered (witnesses) all about judgment. We misapply this. The Lord is there also misapplied. He is there in judgment (Deu 19:17, Mat 18:20). Searcher |
