Subject: Five words of power? |
Bible Note: Hi Makarios, I was reminded of "five words" because of a conversation with Tim Moran yesterday about John 3:5-8. I had expressed how there are five words of "spirit" in that passage as well. But I notice now that I did not respond to your post here. I would say that Paul not only WISHED to speak five words, he DID speak five words. Five words of "spirit" are found in 1 Cor 14:14-16 and verse 2. I am considering whether five words of lower case "spirit" could also be discerned for John 3:5-8. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:4, "And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God."
